What causes problems?

Look at this situation and think about what Josh wants and what Matt wants.

Josh and Matt want different things

Like Josh & Matt there are many times when two friends want different things. Friends can have different ideas or different points of view. This is what we call conflict.

When we find ourselves in a conflict situation it is a chance for us to have a go at working things out, to do some problem solving! Being able to work through a problem is a step towards taking more control of our lives. This helps us to build confidence & to feel good about ourselves & others.

Working out what to do about problems is good for your Mental Health. Yeah, a great reason for learning some simple problem solving steps!
