Step 2: How do you feel?

Have you noticed that when you are having a problem you don’t feel that happy? You may feel angry, annoyed, scared, sad or worried. These upset types of feelings are telling you something. They are a signal to you to DO something to make yourself feel better.

Solving a problem will help change your upset feelings to happier feelings. Remember to tune into feelings you need to check out the feeling clues Look for these clues

  • listen to what the person is saying?
  • how are they saying it (what does their voice sound like - angry, happy)?
  • look at the person’s face - what is their face telling you?
  • look at the person’s body - what is their body telling you?

What to do: How do you think each person may be feeling?
