Headroom News * GREAT NEWS * Headroom funded till 2010!

As you may be aware, there was a major review of Headroom undertaken in 2006 and after a long period of uncertainty, we have some great news …. Headroom has been advised that funding from the SA Dept of Health will be made available for the project till the end June 2010. Pamphlets, the website, getting out and about and working with young people to promote positive mental health will still be key features of Headroom.

So now we are in the process of recruiting a new Project Officer. If you know of anyone interested in working here, keep an eye on the Adelaide Advertiser in the coming month.

Until we have new staff on deck, you might experience some delay in us responding to emails and other queries – your patience will most appreciated!

Also we take this opportunity to thank and farewell Headroom’s long standing project staff (Beajaye W, Chris L, Steve B and Erin W). They’ve done a great job over the years! We wish them the very best as they move onto other exciting life and work challenges!
